Further to our blog of 25 March 2015 about an additional pay claim from UNISON, we can confirm that the Local Government Association have responded.

In brief, the claim will not even be considered. The response to UNISON made it clear that the pay deal that covers to March 2016, was agreed by all parties and that it would undermine any credibility of national negotiations to re-visit this so long after implementation.
